Soon after we are ready to order, we contact to our local production partner “ Palli crafts Ltd” in Bangladesh.

Palli Crafts Ltd is concerned with the environment, which has been incorporated into production process-like using non toxic and azo free dyes, encouraging to use natural fiber products and developing recycled and upcycling products.

Most products are handmade of Palli crafts that require less energy and natural resources. Palli Crafts has a direct influence on the environmental impact by reducing pollution though doing handmade products.

Palli Crafts’s motto is to create opportunities towards artisans. We are doing business with honesty, transparency, courage, generosity, integrity and love. We have communicated with the producers and artisans with clear expectation on gender equality, women empowerment, quality products, timely products’ delivery. Palli Crafts practices equal employment and payment opportunities for all the employees. 2. Local partner to craftsman~beyond the language

After the details of order is explained to the chair of Palli crafts, Ms. Shahanaz, she asks to create products to the leather and handcrafts company called Babul leather and handicrafts. The owner, Mr Babul Mia, started his workmanship with leather products at Mymemsingh, his native village.

When he was little, he didn’t have a chance to learn written words, instead, he learnt the leather technology for making products from his relative. He worked for a leather company and later on he developed a company of his own and built small production unit. Although he is repected by others, he cannot read or write Bengali. Therefore, Ms Shahnaz send the images of order sheets, specification sheets to his daughter through WhatsApp. The color printed copies of order sheets are given to Mr Babul and have a discussion on order, fabric collection, quality, delivery date , advance payment on order and etc.In addition, through phone conversations, make sure to be clear every points. Before going production, Mr Babul needs to take approval on size and fabric color from Ms Ebisu, Ami tumi’s offical designer and Ms Shahnaz. If necessary, Palli Crafts visits the production premise of waraji.

Mr. Babul’s family

In bangladesh, literacy rate had dramatically increace last few decades. New generations are so passionated, lots of energy to push up this country.

Although there are difficulities to communicate, we trust and respect with each other. We believe that is the secreat of good relationship with people from different background.
